Fabrics & Fiber

The fabric is made using 100% organic cotton, grown using farming practices that support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems.

Treatments

Laser technology offers a valid alternative to traditional abrasion and decoloration methods, without the use of chemicals.

Ozone technology reduces the use of water and chemicals in the washing process.

Alternative to potassium permanganate: this product is treated with a lower impact chemical substitute for potassium permanganate.

Lower impact pigment dyes: this product is dyed using pigments compliant with the Zero Discharge of Hazardeous Chemicals (ZDHC) guidelines. Diesel is a ZDHC member and is working towards a more responsibly chemical management system.

Trims

The Jacron patch is made using FSC® certified cellulose fibre sourced from responsibly-managed forests. All Diesel Library products are made exclusively using lower-impact trims, which include: - Zippers made using certified recycled polyester or certified organic cotton tape - Non-galvanized buttons and rivets - "Diesel Industry" stripe and care label made using certified recycled polyester
